IGNITED LIGHT

Ignited Light is a one-stop referral system that matches the health-related needs of unemployed and underemployed single mothers of color with healthcare and wellness professionals who provide optimum care in the areas of comprehensive medicine, wellness fitness, and prevention education. The system is designed to operate virtually, reducing the encumbrance of commuting.

 OUR MISSION

Ignited Light seeks to assist women who are temporarily unemployed due to systemic social disparities or whose annual earnings do not adequately cover basic monthly needs to sustain their household with attainable medical and wellness resources. This 501(c)3 charitable organization strives to strengthen the wellbeing of community residents of the Crenshaw district and the neighboring greater Los Angeles area by collaborating with local businesses, local government agencies, community advocacy groups, and community stakeholders to address social justice inequities relevant to Black Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) single mothers and families.
